Paper Abstract: Discusses growth of bad bahaviors in spots arenas. Behavioral decline due to moral decay in society. Concept of fair play. Importance of fair play in physical education curriculum to instill positive character traits in students. Elements of fair play (honesty, respect). Impact of "must win" concept.
Paper Introduction: APPLICATION OF FAIR PLAY GUIDELINES IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Introduction
Over the past three decades, once abnormal and abhorred behaviours have become the norm in sports arenas —- both on the field and in the stands —- in many parts of the world. Some observers attribute the behavioural decline to the democratisation of sport wherein control over games passed to lower social orders (Butcher & Schneider, 1998), while others attribute behavioural deterioration in sports to moral decay in the broader society (Peiser, 1995).
An argument stemming from the first explanation is that reprehensible behaviour spreads from commercial athletes (it is the utmost foolishness to refer to such athletes as professionals) to young people in schools as school athletes atte

Pre Adolescent Diversity
The middle school, developed around 30 years ago, was designed for the young adolescent, who was not ready for the impersonal climate found in the high school environment. Paper Abstract: Inclusion of disabled students in mainstream physical education classes. Federal law and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Amendments of 1997. New challenges faced by physical educators regarding adapting activities for students with disabilities. Advantages and disadvantages of mainstreaming. Strategies tor creating a physical education program for special needs students.
Paper Introduction: Mainstreaming and Physical Education
Introduction
Federal educational law in general and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Amendments of 1997 mandate that disabled students with physical, learning, or emotional disorders be placed in the least restrictive physical education environment to provide the best opportunity for learning (Jansma & Decker, 1992; Yun, Shapiro, & Kennedy, 2000). Mainstreaming, also known as inclusion, seeks nothing less than the full or most extensive possible integration of special education students into all types of regular education classrooms. For many such students, however, inclusion in mainstream physical education classes is difficult due to limited resources and the lack of an adaptive physical education curriculum.

Evaluation as a learning experience for the coach that can lead to improved performance on and off the field. Appendix includes a 4-page checklist of attributes of football or athletic coaches.
Paper Introduction: Evaluating High School Football Coaches
The purpose of this brief report is to identify the elements that should be addressed in an evaluation of a secondary school football coach. Also important in this context is the identification of who should conduct such an evaluation. Attached as an appendix to the report is a “checklist” of attributes of the football or athletic coach that can be extremely useful in conducting a thorough-going evaluation.
Coaches in the secondary school environment are required to assume a variety of roles – sports instructor, surrogate parent, counselor, role model, and classroom teacher. Evaluating the performance of a high school athletic coach, including those whose focus is on football, is a task that is equally complex (Figone, p. 54). This complexity is linked to the myriad roles that the coac

Difficulties, Problems, and Issues
One issue in the management of athletic academic advisement programs can be seen in a study conducted by Blake (1988) whose research focused on the administration of intercollegiate athletics. Of primary interest in Blake's study was determining the degree of loosely coupled or tightly coupled patterns of administration that exists for intercollegiate athletics. Secondarily, Blake sought to discover differences between

Paper Abstract: Relationship between individual's unique personal & behavioral dispositions & his success in sports.
Paper Introduction: This paper will review literature, which has investigated the relationship between personality and sports performance. Primarily, the discussion will center around the issue of introversion and player position. An experiment will be proposed which will attempt to describe the possible differences between offensive and defensive positions and introversion.
Personality and Sports Performance Studies
The growing knowledge about aptitude, abilities, and skills has just begun to explain performance differences, in terms of depending to some extent on the individual’s unique and personal and behavioral dispositions. Such dispositions that an individual brings to a performance are not fully understood, neither as to the nature of the predisposition nor as to the predictive value. This is not surprising, given that the field

Paper Introduction: A recreation leader organizes and initiates programs that offer a constructive use of leisure time. As a branch of physical education, recreation is inseparable from the goals of the latter: physical fitness, emotional fulfillment, and the spirit of cooperation in creative and competitive endeavors. The responsibilities of the qualified recreation leader include dealing with problems that may be encountered in a community-center setting. However, an awareness of the circumstances is not enough. A recreation leader must approach these difficulties with several alternative plans in an effort to meet the needs of the people involved. Thus, the best solutions are both reasonable and effective.
In most cases, the person will asume the duties of a recreation leader at a center that has been in operation for some
